indexly is an application (the “App”) for creating and managing lists. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you create an account and use the App. By creating an account or when otherwise using the App, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy.

Email Address: used for creating and authenticating your account, password resets, and essential notifications.
Password: we store only a hashed version of your password (never in plain text) to protect your security.
Log Data: we may automatically collect certain information when you use the App, such as your device type, operating system version, App version, IP address, and dates/times of access.
Analytics: we may use analytics services to understand how you navigate and use the App, helping us improve features and user experience.
User-Generated Content: the content you create (e.g., lists, notes) is stored on our servers. While these data may contain personal information if you choose to include it, we do not require or encourage you to store sensitive data. Please note that these items are stored in plain text and are not encrypted, so any personal data you include is at your own risk.

3. Communications

If you contact us for support or feedback, we may collect and store the content of your message, as well as any contact details you provide (e.g., email address).

4. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or other purposes.

Data Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method is completely secure.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document and may provide additional notice within the App or via email if you have provided one. Your continued use of the App after any such changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any modifications, you should discontinue using the App.
